The Lin Lab is awarded the CVRC Keelan Award!

We are very grateful to have received the Cardiovascular Research Center's Michael Keelan, Jr., MD, Research Foundation Award!

The Michael H. Keelan, Jr., MD, Research Foundation, an endowment account managed by the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and designated for cardiovascular research at MCW.  The fund, established by the Tendick Family, honors the life and career of Michael H. Keelan, Jr., MD, ’60, whose career as a cardiologist spanned several decades. Dr. Keelan has been known as “a cardiologist’s cardiologist” and has served as a member of the CVRC board of community supporters.

We will use the Keelan Award to advance the translation of TRPC6 inhibition as a therapeutic strategy for Duchenne muscular dystrophy patients.
